Biot : a town of artistic & historical interest
Biot is a world centre for decorative glasswork and boasts a number of listed historical buildings.
With its period houses and streets, Biot has retained the look and feel of a mediaeval village. Art and craft enthusiasts will love the glass-making workshops and history buffs will delight in the museum with its ceramics and historical displays.
Don’t miss the national Fernand Léger museum with its fabulous collection of modern art. The front of the building which houses it was decorated by the artist himself who stayed in Biot with other artists of the same generation, including Salvador Dali.
